Kill it with fire!!!
The Motorola MOXI DVR that comes with Time Warner cable is terrible.
It freezes and is grainy - the interface is atrocious.
And its not just the model I am working with its the entire Motorola DVR brand: 1, 2.
This DVR needs to be killed with fire.
